Rockin’ Good Time in Pryor at Rocklahoma [PHOTOS]

Rocklahoma happens each year over Memorial Day weekend in Pryor, Oklahoma. Imagine 3 days of rock music, friends, fun and food! I had a Rocklahoma bucket list which mainly consisted of trying to bounce between the 3 stages of live music and see all of my favorites. My favorite band I got to see was Def Leppard. They headlined on Friday night with an energetic performance and set the mood for the weekend. Def Leppard has hit after hit that you can’t help but sing-a-long to and closed out with crowd favorite “Pour Some Sugar On Me”. Rocklahoma has an unique set up with a deck where they flow the fans through the front giving you an up close experience with your favorite bands like Three Days Grace, The Pretty Reckless, Seether and more! That is how I was able to capture the awesome up close picture of Def Leppard front man Joe Elliott posted below.

Outdoor festivals are always an adventure because rain or shine you have to be ready to rock! I got to experience a full out storm at Rocklahoma on the second day of the festival. Rocklahoma staff handled the situation well and made sure everyone was safe. We unfortunately missed a few bands because of mother nature like Red Sun Rising, Stone Sour and Live. However safety is important and there was a significant amount of lightening. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want to be holding an electric guitar in a storm! Before the storms put a halt on the evening we got to catch up with Brett Scallions from Fuel and snag a picture. Check out our cheesy smiles below! Day 3 came to a close with The Offspring and attendance was record breaking at Rocklahoma. Corndogs, storms, and rock made for an memorable Rocklahoma 2017!
