A young Topeka man decided it was a good idea to take a sword in the Downtown Bank of America branch. YES A REAL SWORD. Reported by KSNT News, Topeka police said a man was questioned after walking into a bank with a sword on Tuesday, May 16th. The police learned that a man came into the bank wearing a sword in a scabbard. The man gave the sword to the bank’s security guard and was then taken in for questioning. Police identified the man as David Retana-Garcia, 23, who was booked into the Shawnee County jail on attempted robbery.
