Hi! My name is Lucky. I have an awesome foster family, and I’m looking for a family to officially adopt! 
I’m a 3-year-old pit bull/pointer mix with a heart full of love and a lot of cuddles to give. I’m currently living in a foster home to give me a break from the loud shelter life. My foster mom says I am a pretty easy-going guy. My favorite hobbies include being a professional couch potato, soaking up belly rubs, and going for car rides.
At night, I sleep like a champ on my own dog bed. Fair warning though—I do snore sometimes! I walk nicely on a leash and enjoy getting out to explore. Sometimes I get a little excited on the leash when I see things like another dog or a squirrel and I might pull a little but I’ve been working hard on my dog manners.
I currently live with 2 German shorthair pointers. One of them can be a little bossy to me sometimes and we have butted heads on occasion. I think I would do better as the solo dog in a house so I can get all the belly scratches to myself! More than anything, I just want people. I love attention, affection, and being part of a family. Give me some pets, tell me I’m a good boy, and I’ll be your best friend.
I’ve spent enough time waiting. What I’d really love is a couch to call my own, a family to love, and a place where I never have to wonder if I belong.
