The Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center is once again lighting up the holiday season with its beloved annual event, Zoo Lights Presented by Evergy, returning for its sixth year with a dazzling new theme: “Holidays Around the World.”
From November 21 through December 31, the zoo transforms into a glowing winter wonderland, inviting guests to explore seven themed zones that celebrate holiday traditions from across the globe. Visitors will stroll through immersive displays inspired by the cultures of the United States, China, Japan, Mexico, Africa, the Arctic, and the Caribbean, plus a whimsical Winter Wonderland.
The event kicks off with a Garland Cutting Ceremony at 5 p.m. on November 21, marking the official start of the festivities.

- Sunday–Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Friday–Saturday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Closed: November 24–25 and December 1
- Specials: $2 off admission on Thanksgiving and Christmas evenings (6–9 PM)
- Wild Wednesdays: $9 admission for all guests every Wednesday night
