Meet Lady, our Muttley Crew member of the week! Lady is very special dog who has been at Helping Hands Humane Society now for 440 days. This sweet girl came to them in June of 2023, and was placed on a protective custody hold due to a pending cruelty charge. After a long and challenging year, Lady was finally released and is available for adoption.
Lady is a three-year-old German Shepherd/Great Dane mix. She is 82 pounds of pure goofy girl energy. She’s a perfect fit for a family that can keep up with her playful spirit and provide the love and care she deserves.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Custom Sheetmetal & Roofing, Lady’s adoption fee is completely waived! This Midwest princess is $0 to adopt and ready to find a loving family. Lady would prefer to be the only pet in the household because after a year at the shelter, she really wants to be the apple of your eye. She gets a bit jealous of other furry friends getting your attention!
