Spirit of Kansas Returns to Lake Shawnee

The Spirit of Kansas Festival is an old‑fashioned 4th of July celebration held at Lake Shawnee. The celebration begins at 11am with food trucks, arts and craft vendors, car show, blues festival, and a water‑ski show. The festival ends with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the sky at 10pm.

Car Show registration is $20 and starts at 8am at Shelters 4 & 5 west of Reynolds Lodge. Show begins at 9am and awards will be handed out around 2:30pm.

Find food trucks and craft vendors from 11am-approx 7:30pm

ATTENDEES MAY BRING:

Shade Tents (designated area), Lawn Chairs / Blankets, Coolers / Food
