Our Take on “The Dirt”

Screen Cap

It’s time to talk about the infamous stories behind a famous band.

The Mötley Crüe biopic, The Dirt, has officially been released on Netflix and we think it’s been out long enough to toss our thoughts out onto the internet! Keep in mind, we’re not experts. Well, we kind of are, but you get the point.

The Dirt did everything it was supposed to. It gave us some interpretations on crazy nights, band fights and members almost dying. It served up some of the most infamous stories we’ve ever heard about the Crüe and we loved it. Now, was it an amazing film that will be nominated for a bunch of awards? Hell no, but it did do what the band wanted it to. Please the fans. As fans of the band we really enjoyed the movie and firmly believe that even if you’re not a fan of the Crüe, you’ll enjoy it as well. It’s an over the top NSFW ride of your life. If you like movies where characters a reckless, there’s nudity and people almost die, this is the one for you.

Overall we’ll give it an 8/10 on our scale of riffs. Go check out The Dirt, streaming now on Netflix.
