Are you down with the sickness?

This week inside The VORTX we’ll rock out with double shots from Disturbed every hour of the show! Disturbed is one of the most successful heavy metal bands of the last fifteen years. Almost all of their records have gone platinum and they’re coming off of the success of their come-back album Immortalized. That record included a cover of the classic Simon and Garfunkel “Sound of Silence.” That cover was a massive hit among rock fans, rock radio and the world. This year, the band announced their new record EvolutionThe new album is set to be released in about two weeks on October 19th. The band has released two songs from Evolution thus far, including the hit “Are You Ready?” They haven’t announced dates for their 2019 world tour yet, but they have announced cities and Kansas City is on the list of cities, so expect to see them sometime next year.

Not only will you hear the riffs from Disturbed this week, but we’ll also have a ton of new music for you. If you’re a fan of Maynerd James Keenen, we’ve got a new song from A Perfect Circle for you. If you’re into some of the heavier stuff, we’ll have new music from Papa Roach and we’ll be spinning the new tune from Fight The Fury for the second time. Who is Fight The Fury?
