This Week Inside the VORTX – KORN

This week The VORTX has decided to give the people what they want by serving up a main dish of KORN for your listening pleasure.

KORN has been a leader in the so-called Nu-Metal Genre since the early 90s. They had smash records like Life Is Peachy, Follow The Leader and Issues. The band has gone through several ups and downs since they formed. One of those ups and downs was when Brian “Head” Welch decided to depart from the band in 2005 to get clean and take care of his daughter. After Brian left the band was never the same again. There was something missing. Brian made the decision to return to KORN in 2013. He’d gotten clean, grown as a man of faith and he’d been able to spend time with his daughter. The first album KORN released after his return was The Paradigm Shift in 2013 and they released The Serenity of Suffering just last year.

Also this week we’ll be featuring tunes from Nothing More, Motionless In White, and Ded.

Ethan will recap the Stone Sour and Korn concerts as well as chatting about what shows we have coming up in the near future.

Don’t forget to keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter for exclusive content, updates from inside the VORTX and the latest rock news. To submit requests to the show email us at [email protected] or contact us via our social media accounts.
