It’s Ethan here from inside the VORTX. I decided to step out for a few minutes to help out our buddies in Sweet Ascent!
For those of you that may not know, Sweet Ascent is a rock band out of LFK. We’ve been spinning their latest hit “Overwhelmed” since the VORTX launched back in January and you guys have said nothing but good things! Right now they are going head to head with two other bands for a spot on the Skullcandy Stage at Vans Warped Tour this summer as a part of Skullcandy’s StayLoud Showdown. I don’t know about you guys, but I would love to see Sweet Ascent take the stage at Warped Tour alongside bands like I Prevail, Beartooth and Memphis May Fire! All you have to do to make sure that they make it is click HERE and vote! They’ve already got the majority of the vote, but it doesn’t end until May 23rd and they need your help! You can catch the band’s showdown performance in Austin, TX this Tuesday (May 16th)! If you can’t make the drive down to Texas you can sure as hell watch at home at stayloud.skullcandy.com! Show our local legends some love and you just might see them at Warped this summer!
