From Hybrid Theory to One More Light, this week we highlight one of rock’s greatest vocalists and biggest losses.

It has been almost two years since we lost Chester Bennington to suicide. I remember exactly how that day went. It was easily my worst day at work. I had the responsibility of going live on the air to let you know about his passing as well as putting together a tribute that afternoon. Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands of all time and I was devastated. What made it worse is that we lost Chester on Chris Cornell’s birthday who had committed suicide just a couple months before. 2017 was a rough year for the rock community, but as always we push forward. I’m really excited to share Chester’s music with you this week. yes, we’ll spin Linkin Park, but we’ve also got a new song that was just released by Mark Morton, guitarist for Lamb of God, that features Chester on Vocals. Even almost two years later, Chester is still blessing us with his voice.

This week we’ve also got a ton of new music for you from bands that we’ve never played before like SHVPES and veterans of the show like Beartooth, FEVER 333 and In Flames.
