Have you heard this metal version of “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” yet?

With VORTX-MAS starting this weekend, we thought we would share one of the latest and greatest metal Christmas songs. The day before Thanksgiving a video of a band called Small Town Titans performing their metal version of “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” went viral. It got picked up by multiple media outlets and for good reason. The song always needed a little bit more of an edge. Phil Freeman, who fronts the band, has some amazing voals on this track to go along with the killer riffs. His voice fits the song perfectly.

If you like their cover of the Christmas classic, you’re probably going to like the rest of their music and you’re in luck, you can get it for free! The band announced they they would be giving away free cds for the holidays on their Facebook page. The cd includes their cover of “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” as well as some original music.
