This week the VORTX has made the decision to release it’s favorite tribute or cover songs of all time.

Brent Smith of Shinedown has said before that they don’t like calling the Smith & Myers recordings of previously done songs covers. He likes to think of them as tributes. The VORTX likes to think of them that way as well, so this week on the show your ears will be blessed with some of the best tributes we believe have ever been recorded. Some of the bands that we’ll pay tribute to include Metallica, Bad Company and Taylor Swift. Yes, I said Taylor Swift. Trust me, it’s 10x better than the original.

This week we’ll also be giving you the chance to win a signed copy of DED‘s debut album Mis-An-Thrope.
