The “garage band” from Topeka is coming back home for one special night. Our home-grown rockers, KANSAS take the stage at the Topeka Performing Arts Center this Friday night (10/6).

KANSAS released their debut album in 1974 and have gone on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide. Kansas is best known for hits “Carry on Wayward Son”, “Dust in the Wind”, and MORE.

America’s preeminent progressive rock band KANSAS will be touring select cities this fall celebrating the 40th Anniversary of their breakthrough album ‘Leftoverture’. To celebrate, for the first time in history, the band will be performing the album in its entirety. The tour will showcase two hours of classic KANSAS music including hit songs, deep cuts, and new songs from their recent album release, ‘The Prelude Implicit.” The band last performed in Topeka less than a year ago at free concert over the 4th of July weekend.
